In fact, the occasional phone conference can become a pleasure - the simple satisfaction of collaborating in real time with your colleagues. Because let's face it, one of the few downsides of working from home can be isolation. The same privacy that can allow you to be a more focused and productive worker can also feel pretty solitary from time to time. When you just wrote a fantastic document or solved a computer glitch all on your own, it would be nice to have somewhere to say: guess what I did!
